Shingo Miyamoto, Japanese Economic and Development Minister inaugurated The Project for Provision of Medical Equipment

Japanese Economic and Development Minister Mr Shingo Miyamoto, inaugurated The Project for Provision of Medical Equipment at Saint Hardyal Educational and Orphans Welfare Society, in Garhmukteshwar, Uttar Pradesh on 16 June 2022, in the presence of Dr G.P Bhagat, Founder SHEOWS, Mr Saurabh Bhagat, Director SHEOWS,  Mr Ryuhei Nishi First Secretary, Embassy of Japan; Ms Yuka Aota Economic Cooperation Assistant, GGP, Embassy of Japan; Ms Babita Project Coordinator, GGP, Embassy of Japan and Shri Rajeev Tarara MLA Dhanaura, Uttar Pradesh.

Japan Embassy funded the medical equipment and constructed two lifts, to help the abandoned and destitute elderlies, its construction will help with quick and accurate diagnoses which would further ensure their physical and mental wellbeing.

For the last two decades, Saint Hardyal Educational and Orphans Welfare Society (SHEOWS) is working for the welfare of abandoned and destitute elderlies, they ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of their beneficiaries through providing all the essential services like paramedical services, nutritive meals and provide a safe and hospitable environment.

The Government of Japan has extended its support to SHEOWS under The Grant Assistance for Grassroots Project scheme; under this scheme, the Japanese Government supports Indian organizations working in the domain of education, healthcare, etc.

This project will ensure proper treatment of the abandoned and destitute elderlies and ensure their Physical and Mental Well-being.
