ORGANIC FARMING

2.5 Acre land is used to practice organic farming; this method is practiced to monitor the quality of consumption, as organic farming is a production system which avoids chemical pesticide and fertilizers, which further contributes towards creating a healthy lifestyle for the elderly.

Organic farming was developed as a response to the environmental harms caused by chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, practicing this helps in solving environmental issues like soil erosions which further improve the contamination of groundwater. The farm exclusive produce and supply seasonal fruits and vegetables for the Ashram, all 450 beneficiaries residing in Garmuktakshwar Ashram are benefitting from this service.
